Message from the Principal
Our Year 5s and Year 6s have had an amazing time with their EOTC Week and Makahika Camp! You will see by the photos and some student views that it was a great experience for them. We really appreciate the response to making the EOTC and Camp Related Donations and to those who chose the option of paying off throughout the year. It has meant these experiences could go ahead and gives us confidence to continue to plan for these events in the future.
A big thank you to the Senior Team and parent helpers who helped make these experiences safe, challenging and memorable for all our wonderful tamariki!
Our Year 6s have had a mini inquiry into leadership as they prepare to take on various roles of leadership throughout the school. All of these roles are important as they meet many needs in our school. Learning what leadership is, the skills required, and the discipline to carry out their roles is a life skill.
It was great to see our Road Patrollers undergoing their Refresher Training and the opportunity for other students to meet the requirements for this role. Thank you to all the whānau who supervise regularly each week. The support you give to the Patrollers gives them confidence to do their job responsibly and safely. It is much appreciated.
