Eastern Hutt School is a school where we value and celebrate all of the many cultures that make up our school community. We have strong values at the heart of our school. These values help develop us all to be individuals that care for one another and the environment.

Our aim is to prepare our students to be lifelong learners and equip them with the competencies and values to be positively contributing members of their community wherever that may be now and in the future.

Although numeracy and literacy are the core of our programmes, we believe in providing many opportunities for our children so they can discover and develop their talents. We are able to provide opportunities for them to achieve success through extension programmes, leadership, Kapa Haka, choir, dance, arts, sports, science and maths badge programmes, science and enviro groups. Keyboard, guitar and drumming lessons are also available if requested.

Our aim is to provide the best positive educational experience for your child and continually look to improve and further develop our programmes. We have caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated teaching and support staff who are committed to making sure this happens.

You are very welcome to call and make an appointment to see me if there is anything you wish to discuss.
